By participating in AARA sanctioned exhibitions you are exposing yourself to the possibility of serious injury or death. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure their car is mechanically safe, and that the vehicle is operated in a safe manner at all times.
The AARA Driver Protocol must be signed by anyone who plans on participating (driving) in an AARA event.
REQUIRED DRIVERS SAFETY EQUIPMENT:
1. NOMEX or equivalent underwear, top and bottom
2. NOMEX or equivalent socks
3. NOMEX or equivalent driving suit
4. SNELL SA90 (minimum) rated helmet, SA95 or newer is strongly recommended
Helmets with "M" or "DOT" ratings are NOT acceptable!THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE RECOMMENDED:
5. NOMEX or equivalent shoes *
6. NOMEX or equivalent drivers gloves ** Likely to be required in near future
You the driver, and you alone, assume ALL responsibility for your safety while participating in an AARA activity. Please bear in mind that auto racing, even exhibition auto racing, can be a life threatening activity. Each time you crawl into a race vehicle, you are risking your own life. Please take any precuations you can, these things "bite".

AARA TRACK EVENT DAILY SCHEDULE
(Times at each event are subject to change - this is a general guideline)
SATURDAY
8:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M.SUNDAY11:00 A.M.REGISTRATION
SAFETY CHECK - First time Participants for the year are required to have a formal Technical Inspection by the Pit Steward, or his designee.
MANDATORY Drivers Meeting (Usually held in the Grandstands) Ask any AARA Official for directions.
NOTE: Driver(s) NOT attending the Driver Meeting MAY, at the discretion of the Pit Steward, forfeit driving privileges for that day's events.12:00 NOON
All registered cars moved onto the track12:30 P.M. to 1:15 P.M.
WARM-UP LAPS NOTE: Yellow Flag will be displayed until ALL cars are pushed off. NO "Hot Laps" until the Yellow/Green flags are displayed.Slower cars are reminded to stay to the inside of the track except when cars are being pushed off on the front straight-away. Once all cars have "fired", AND during the SIMULATED races, slower cars are to stay to the inside AT ALL TIMES!

10:30 to 11:30 A.M."LATE COMER" Registration & Safety Checks NOTE: It is the responsibility of any "Late Comer" to check in with the Pit Steward prior to going to the track for the an update on the Driver’s Meeting to ensure compliance with any changes in procedure, etc.12:00 NOON
All registered cars moved to the track and follow same schedule as on Saturday. Be aware that the number, type, and order of track events may vary. NOTE: If there is a Line-up, it will follow Warm-Ups at approximately 1:15 P.M.
